My last birthday in the 20s has been somewhat uneventful but I suppose that is a good thing considering my "condition." No baby has been born on my day and that is the way I wanted it. I believe it is a good start for Grant and my relationship. I was worried that he was going to try and steal my thunder from day 1 and we were going to be constantly butting heads. Hopefully that won't be the case.
We made no definite plans being this was so close to my due date and therefore we did diddly squat. Miles and I sat at home and carried on life as normal. But as a very nice birthday gift, Miles did take a 3 hour afternoon nap. I got a lot done. My sister and niece came over and ate lunch with us. We went to the bank. And even had dinner at Cracker Barrel - I had a craving for pancakes. I wasn't about to cook on my birthday. Like I said - it was uneventful but in a nice quiet way. That is good because nothing is about to be quiet at Hazelwood House for several years - maybe a couple decades, I hear.
Miles doing laundry on the couch. (I love the way the morning sun was coming in the window) I must look like an idiot when I fold the laundry because he takes the clothes out of the basket and whips them around in the air over and over. I am assuming that is his interpretation of "folding" the laundry. I hope he learns better. It is somewhat counterproductive.

Happy (late) b-day! I had good intentions of calling you all day long, but never got a chance.
I loved the animated card from Mason - very cute!
